This post isn’t showing up in my dashboard for some reason (maybe due to the Tumblr interface update), so I am reblogging it. And I wrote on top, for old time’s sake.
Mike and I had lunch with Dante Basco (voice Zuko & General Iroh the Younger) yesterday. It nice to take a break from the storm and reminisce on the Avatar days and craze, and catch up on the million-and-one things Dante is up to. The guy keeps himself busy. He is on Tumblr too, in case you didn’t know. But if you are into Homestuck, then you already knew that.
Giancarlo Volpe(Storyboard Artist): But he was going for this look and I had to learn all that stuff. When you’re fresh out of a sitcom-type show and you have a deadline and you’re trying to draw these kung-fu scenes with a wide angle lens - that’s crazy. They didn’t prepare me for that in art school.

when ever there’s a chase scene in a film and some fruit stall gets knocked over i always feel really bad because what if that’s the fruit guys only source of income and his wife has left him and he has a kid in hospital with cancer i want to know more about the fate of the fruit seller does he get it together and turn his life around or is it the last straw for him we’ll never know
